Domain South Yarra is a couple of blocks from Chapel Street (along Toorak Road), a few kms from St Kilda and only 2 km’s away from the city itself. Most of the cities largest attractions are a leisurely stroll away. A walk to the city can be north along St Kilda Road (past the Shrine, the National Gallery of Victoria and the Arts Centre), or through the expansive group of gardens (known s King's Domain) or around the gardens via “the tan” running track and along the Yarra River.

Trams connect to the north, south, east and west and meet up at the Domain interchange. The number 8 Toorak tram runs along Domain road and Park Street. You can also catch the free City of Melbourne Tourist Shuttle which stops at the Shrine and loops through the city.

St Kilda’s fashionable restaurants and beaches, the city, the Melbourne Cricket Ground the Rod Laver Arena, the Recital hall and Albert Park – home of the Melbourne Grand Prix – are all within walking distance.
